A dual satellite payload for Australia and Japan
Arianespace Flight 161 will place the dual telecommunications satellite payload of Optus & Defence C1 for Australia and BSAT-2c for Japan into geostationary transfer orbit during the night of June 11-12. For this mission, Arianespace will be using an Ariane 5 Generic launch vehicle. Viel Spaß beim gucken! Arianespace's live video broadcast of Flight 161, complete with commentary in French and English, will be carried in the Video Corner section of www.arianespace.com. This Webcast will begin 20 minutes before the scheduled liftoff and continue until 50 minutes after launch. Video streaming of the Webcast will be available in high and low data rates.
